Duktar is tale of a woman and her daughter who flee away, when her daughter is about to make marry to a tribal leader. This film was one of its kinds, with a different storyline and amazing actors. Child Marriage issue was well shown in this film.Dukhtar shooting was done in northern mountains wasn’t an easy task but filmmaker, Afia Nathaniel did a wonderful job with shooting it.

Dukhtar was few of those which got nominated for Oscars. Films like Dukhtar is a piece of art work which also educate audience about a particular issue.
