Hasnain Lehri (Model)

Born in Baluchistan, this boy is absolutely giving a tough competition to Lahore and Karachi based models as he was seen very active in recent Eid Campaigns of renowned designers of Pakistan Fashion Industry. These were mainly HSY, Nomi Ansari, Sapphire and Faraz Manan. He is just 26 years old and has already been considered as Type A model of Fashion Industry. Hasnain got his first modeling gig from Karachi while he was completing his high school education in London. Since then he is achieving heights by availing every good opportunity coming across. Therefore, we can see him as the face of numerous campaigns for leading brands in the industry. He was also nominated as ‘Best Male Model” at the Hum TV Awards. Along with modeling, Hasnain also wishes to try for acting and excel into the field.

“I believe in doing everything with perfection. Right now, I’m happy with modeling and the response I get is extremely gratifying. I do plan on taking acting classes in London in the near future and coming back and trying my luck at it.”

Mahgul Rashid (Designer)

Mahgul Rashid, the creative head of Mahgul, started her career in the fashion market two years ago but her quality work and unique approach towards techniques has made her into the LSA’s Emerging talent list. Where many designers are setting trends by opening up retail stores for the customers for easy approach, Mahgul differentiates herself by opting for a studio instead- The Design House. From unconventional cuts to artistic embroideries, Mahgul is constantly experimenting with silhouettes and design techniques. And her success can be seen in the dresses wore by Humaima Malick and Mahira Khan for their movie promotions Dekh Magar Pyaar Se and Bin Roye. Mahgul keeps her designs fresh and believes in targeting every body type instead for just the skinny ones.

“The most challenging aspect is finding out what a women want. I am so set in my ways that it is challenging to break people’s notions about clothes and styles.”

Muzi Sufi (Photographer)

It’s been two years since she started her career as a photographer. With no formal experience, Muzammil Sufi has groomed herself into a true artist in such short period.

“I try to evoke a sense of nostalgic fantasy in most of my images, conceptualizing themes such as loss and beauty into something that can be expressed visually. I get my inspiration from literature, mythology, conversations and emotions.”

She believes in expression and emphasize on having a depth behind the picture through her photography. Being a girl, she thinks she can translate her expression through another female. Sadaf Kanwal (Model)

A model with Attractive looks, long hair and heart throbbing personality. How is this possible that a model will not be in the LSA Emerging Talent list with all such qualities? She is definitely the beautiful Sadaf Kanwal who started her career by making her prominent appearances on countless fashion shows. Her one of the successful projects from last year as a model has been Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2014. She has been associated with renowned brands like Maria B, Umsha and Shariq Textiles. She has been the face of famous magazines like Sunday Plus and SHE. Her determination and devotions have made her achieved heights and is on the road of breaking her own records.

“It’s very important for a model to love herself. I am blessed that this is my job, and just like there are celebrities I want to be like, I know there are young girls who look at me and wish to be like me.”

Saira Shakira (Designer)

Saira Faisal and Shakira Usman have been working separately as a fashion designer since 2005 but together they launched their brand ‘Saira Shakira’ in 2011. Since then, their label has made positive word of mouth from everyone associated with the industry. The label is known for their detailed embroidery and unusual work. Saira Shakira has excelled themselves in bridal wears as well as formal by adding the fusion of eastern and western culture in both. Over the past years, they have expanded their line in luxury pret as well and is getting gratifying response.
