Conceal dark under-eye circles

The best way to apply your under-eye concealer is by creating an upside-down triangle directly under your lashline, pointing towards the bottom of your cheek. This way you’ll cover up any redness next to and below each eye, drawing attention to the brightest point on the face – your eyes.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Make your eyeshadow pop

For those times when you really want your eye colour to pop, apply white eyeliner all over the eyelid, followed by your favourite eyeshadow. You’ll find that the white intensifies the colour and makes it really stand out.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]

Beautifully curled eyelashes

Using a hairdryer to blow hot air on your eyelash curler works wonders to curl lashes quickly and easily. Make sure to heat the eyelash curler until it heats up well – let it cool slightly if you’ve overdone the heat so you don’t burn yourself – then clamp down on your lashes to curl them.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1030″ img_size=”full” alignment=”right”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Perfectly winged eyeliner

According to Divine Caroline, the best way to get perfectly winged eyeliner is to start at the outer end of the eye, then trace a diagonal line from the corner of the eye about halfway up toward the end of the eyebrow. Then, create the entire ‘flick’ shape by drawing another line that meets with the first line to create a point. After that, draw a line that extends all the way over to meet that second line from the inner corner of the eye. Then colour it in. In case you make a mistake, simply take a small liner brush and rub it into a makeup remover wipe, then try again.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Tame your eyebrows

Here’s a trick to get those unruly brows into line – clear lip balm. Dab on, brush into place and away you go.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Customised lip gloss

Loose eyeshadow mixed with some petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline) or your favourite clear balm gives you the perfect custom lip shade. Blend together your favourite colours to truly personalise your gloss to create the blend you want.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Make lipstick last all day

A Beautiful Mess has a great technique to keep that colour on your lips – where it belongs. Start by lining your lips with liner the same shade as your lipstick. Making an x at the cupid’s bow and arrows at the corner, fill in your entire upper and bottom lip with liner to help your lip shade adhere to your lips. Apply lipstick in either one or two coats depending on the intensity, then take a tissue and blot your lips once. Now take one-ply of the tissue, lay it over your lips and use a powder brush with setting powder to lightly powder your lips over the tissue – this will set the colour in without creating a dry effect.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]

Dry your nail polish in record time

You’ve probably always wished for a shortcut to dry your nail polish, and now you have it. Simply paint your nails, wait for three minutes, and submerge your fingers or toes in cold water for 30 seconds. There, your nail paint has set.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1031″ img_size=”full” alignment=”right”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
