Humsafar Team Bagged Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress Award.
It was an honorable moment when the talented and the well deserving team of Humsafar bagged all three major awards at 12th LUX Style Awards 2013.
Sarmad Khoosat, a remarkable director who has directed many plays, knows how to build up a story and make his actors love the characters. Sarmad is a magician when it comes to direction as the success of any play depends heavily on the director and Sarmad did an extra-ordinary job with that. He brought Pakistani drama’s lost glory back through Humsafar which is still remembered by audiences. And got the award for Best Director.
Mahira Khan got the Best Actress award and there wasn’t a doubt as at that time Mahira’s role in Humsafar was very famous amongst the masses, who absolutely loved her. And of course Mahira’s acting and character avatar made her won the title.
More excitement was added when Fawad Khan got Best Actor award for the same drama which was a big achievement for Humsafar team and happiness could be seen on their faces. Fawad’s wife got a bit emotional on her husband’s achievement.
Humsafar Team deserved it and was overwhelmed by the appreciation they got.
